Seo Joo-Won (Lee Ki-Woo) invites Ha Moon-soo (Won Jin-a) to this café in episode 6 of Just Between Lovers/Rain or Shine (그냥 사랑하는 사이) (JTBC, 2017-18).
Choryang 1941 [초량1941] is a café that sits in an old Japanese house built in 1941 (hence its name) and comes with a Japanese vibe. Their speciality is milk in different flavors like ginger or camellia milk but also milk coffee or tea, which they also sell in bottles ready for take-out. The café has regular hours but apparently closes once sold-out and people often stand in line waiting to be seated at one of their 20 tables. The café lies a little north of Jungang Park [중앙공원] at the feet of Gubongsan Mountain [구봉산] in Busan’s neighborhood Choryang-dong [초량동] in the Dong District [Dong-gu/동구].
