About Cheonggyecheon Stream [청계천]
Cheonggyecheon Stream or Cheonggyecheon [청계천], which was officiated in 2005, is a 10.84km (6.8 mi) long waterway that flows through downtown Seoul forming the Southern border of the Jongno District [Jongno-gu/종로구], formerly covered by a highway. Mojeon Bridge/Mojeongyo [모전교] and Gwangtong Bridge/Gwangtonggyo [광통교] make up part of the major 22 bridges that cross this waterway and they are the first two crossing counting from west of the stream.
