Chang Ucchin Museum of Art, Yangju City [양주시립장욱진미술관] is a museum dedicated to South Korean modern fine art in the spirit of and in contribute to South Korean 20th century modern artist Chang Ucchin (장욱진) (1917-1990). Built in 2014, this museum project was initiated by the collaboration of the Chang Ucchin Art Foundation [장욱진미술문화재단] and the city of Yangju. The building was designed by Chae-Pereira Architects (Songhee Chae & Laurent Pereira) inspired by Chang’s own house and his paintings — as the architects state it on their webpage.

The museum is located in the village of Seokhyeon [Seokhyeon-ri/석현리] in Yangju’s Jangheung Township [Jangheung-myeon/장흥면]. It is 20 minutes from here by bus no. 19 or 15-1 to Roastery Cafe Double S [카페더블에스].
