C’est La Vie [음악다방 쎄라비]

Kim Myung-hee (Go Min-si) meets her friend Park Sun-min (Joo Bo-young) at this café (seen as ‘Music Cafe Heehee Nakrak’) in episode 1 of Youth of May (오월의 청춘) (KBS2, 2021), where she hears about the arrest of Lee Soo-ryeon (Geum Sae-rok). In episode 3, Hwang Hee-tae (Lee Do-hyun) meets Myung-hee here.

This was the music cafe that the 70s trio, Seo In-ha (Jang Geun-seok), Lee Dong-wook (Kim Shi-hoo) and Kim Chang-mo (Seo In-guk), and their female friends Baek Hye-jung (Son Eun-seo) and Hwang In-sook (Hwang Bo-ra) hung out at, in the 70s episodes of Love Rain (사랑비) (KBS2, 2012).

C’est La Vie Café [음악다방 쎄라비] was originally built as a drama set, but continues to remain open till today for fans to visit. It is located in Daegu’s neighborhood Dongsan [Dongsan-dong/동산동] – part of its administrative neighborhood Seongnae 2(i)-dong [성내2동] – in the Jung District [Jung-gu/중구].

The cafe is located on the same street as the base of the March 1st Movement Stairs [3.1운동길]. Gyesan Church [계산성당], another well known landmark in Daegu, is just around the corner.
