This is café ‘Gyodae’ at which Joo Yeo-jeong (Lee Do-hyun) and Moon Dong-eun (Song Hye-kyo) are regulars since their university days in The Glory S1 (Deo Geullori/더 글로리) (Netflix, 2022). In episode 1, both wait (their back turned to each other) for their coffee to take out and she overhears (a little unnerved) his conversation with his class mate. In episode 5 in the present time, he rushes over to this café to meet Moon Dong-eun (Song Hye-kyo) in episode 5 of back after she calls him. An episode later, in episode 6, Yeo-jeong has lunch here with his mom.

This is where the group blind date took place in a flashback in episode 1 of The Third Charm / The 3rd Charm (제3의 매력) (JTBC, 2018) and everyone left except On Joon-young (Seo Kang-joon) who then re-meets Lee Young-jae (E-som), who comes to the meeting late. Young-jae returns here in final episode 16 when recalling her past memories with Joon-young.

On his way to Yoon Sang-ah’s (Go Won-hee) office (that doesn’t exist anymore) in episode 11 of Your House Helper (당신의 하우스헬퍼) (KBS2, 2018), Kwon Jin-kook (Lee Ji-hoon) calls her up when in front of this café and she asks him to meet here instead, which they do in episode 12.

It is at this café that Choi Ban-do (Son Ho-jun) dumps Ma Jin-joo (Jang Na-ra) in episode 2 of Go Back Couple/Go Back Spouses/Confession Couple (고백부부) (KBS2, 2017).

Cafe Rosso [카페로쏘 or short 로쏘], opened in December 2008, is a café located in Seoul’s neighborhood of neighborhood Palpan [Palpan-dong/팔판길] —administered by the neighborhood Samcheong [Samcheong-dong/삼청동] —, in the Jongno District [Jongno-gu/종로구]. The café is located at Palpan-gil [팔판길] — albeit its official address saying differently.
