On Joon-young (Seo Kang-joon) visits this scenic location during his backpacking trip to Portugal in episode 11 of The Third Charm / The 3rd Charm (제3의 매력) (JTBC, 2018).

Benagil Cave (Algar de Benagil) is considered one of the most picturesque sea caves in the world, with the sand and sea under and impressive rock formation known as ‘the eye’. From the top, one can look down into the cave (like Joon-young did), and from the bottom, you can see the sky.

It is located near Benagil Beach (Praia de Benagil) in the village of Benagil, in the municipality of Lagoa, Algarve, Southern Portugal. This is around 2h 30mins away from Portugal’s capital of Lisbon, if traveling by car. It is not recommended to swim to these caves due to strong currents; instead, it is better to either take a boat ride to the cave. Check out some visiting tips here.
