Bamsom Park [밤섬공원]

Wok of Love (2018); I Am Not A Robot (2017-2018); The Liar and Its Lover (2017)

After Oh Maeng-Dal (Jo Jae-Yun) punches Chae Seol-Ja’s (Park Ji-Young) ex-lover Wang Choon-Soo (Lim Won-Hee) in her presence in episode 30 of Wok of Love/Greasy Melo (기름진 멜로) (SBS, 2018), they both come running to this park and he finally kisses her and asks her out.

Jo Ji-Ah (Chae Soo-Bin) was grumbling here about Kim Min-gyu (Yoo Seung-Ho) for not paying her for getting the limited edition robot for him in episode 1 of I’m Not A Robot (로봇이 아니야) (MBC, 2017-18).

Yoon So-Rim (joy) and Kang Han-Kyeol (Lee Hyun-Woo) meet here in episode 3 of The Liar and His Lover aka Lovely Love Lie (2017). Suddenly rain is pouring down and they both take shelter in a telephone booth. They come dangerously close and … kiss? Do they kiss? In episode 4, they meet here again because Han-Kyeol wants to persuade So-Rim to sing one of his songs.

  1. went here and sadly no telephone booth..
thank god not much residence is there just a granda so i was able to take pictures here.. ehhehe had to rest in that area too before going to the next location 🙂

  2. Don’t look for the telephone booth from the drama haha it was only the drama crew’s only set-up. We were actually disappointed when we saw that the telephone booth was not there but the park was still worth going to because of its view.

    1. Awww NO! That was the nicest thing about the park and the drama scenes there! Happy to hear that the view from the park is nice, though, and you didn’t feel the visit was wasted. It really seems that K-Dramas are becoming more and more sophisticated in real fake set-ups (thinking about the bus stop in WYWS).
Anyhow, many thanks for sharing this, Toni!
