A.B. Won Pat International Airport (GUM) –or ‘Antonio B. Won Pat International Airport Authority, Guam’ in full– was first established in 1967 as the Guam International Air Terminal, after travel restrictions were lifted in 1962. Two other terminals were subsequently built and completed in 1982 and 1998. The airport is located in the village of Tamuning, around a 10 minute drive to the capital city of Hagåtña.
