Han Dong-jin (Kim Young-kwang) comes here to eat on his own in episode 1 of Call It Love (Sarang-ira Malhaeyo/사랑이라 말해요) (Disney+, 2023). A little later, Shim Woo-joo (Lee Sung-kyung) and best friend Yoon-jun (Sung Joon) also come to this restaurant and start to bicker throughout their meal. When Dong-jin notes a mistake in the addition when paying, Woo-joo supports him through commenting from her table.

91 Sanghoe/Gusipil Sanghoe — Mapo Main Store [91상회/구십일 상회 마포본점] — which translates to 91st Chamber of Commerce — is a samgyeopsal (삼겹살, grilled pork belly) restaurant located in Seoul’s neighborhood Gongdeok [Gongdeok-dong/공덕동] in the Mapo District [Mapo-gu/마포구]. This restaurant was opened in 1991 according to this blog entry which highlights ‘old fashioned (nopo) restaurants (‘노포 맛집 리스트’) in this neighborhood from the 1950s onward. However, on Kakao Maps this restaurant appears as ‘산 청국장’ in 2011.

In 2021, the restaurant had a complete exterior and interior overhaul including a new logo/signboard that now advertises the restaurant.
